Understanding Sexual Dysfunction

Sexual health is a big part of feeling confident, connected, and alive. When something changes, it is rarely just in your head, and rarely just a blood flow issue.

Your sexual response involves your brain, your hormones, your blood vessels, and your emotional connection with your partner. That is why one pill or one cream often isn't enough.

For too long, women in particular have been left without real solutions. We help both men and women look for the reasons behind the change and build a plan that addresses more than one piece of the puzzle.

Root Causes We Look For

01
Hormone Changes Shifts in testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone during menopause and andropause can lower desire and change how your body responds.
02
Blood Flow and Vascular Health Arousal depends on healthy circulation. Blood sugar, blood pressure, and vascular problems can all interfere.
03
Stress and the Nervous System Chronic stress and an overactive stress response can shut down desire and arousal.
04
Mood and Brain Chemistry Desire starts in the brain. Anxiety, low mood, and poor sleep can all play a part.
05
Medications Some common medications can affect libido, arousal, or orgasm. Never stop one without talking with your prescriber.
06
Emotional Connection Feeling safe and connected with your partner is part of healthy sexual function.
How We Help

How We Help You Reconnect

We review your full health history and labs, and we look at hormones, sleep, stress, medications, and lifestyle. Then we design a plan matched to your goals and safety needs.

Depending on what we find, your plan may include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, peptide-based therapies that work on desire, arousal, and connection, and support for the stress and nervous system patterns that can get in the way. For women, options may also include the O-Shot®, a procedure that uses your own concentrated platelets.

These are medical therapies used under the guidance of our team. They are not right for everyone, and we will walk you through what fits. To learn more, read Sexual Health and Peptide Stacks for Men and Women and 8 Ways the O-Shot Can Improve Your Sex Life.

Questions and Answers

Sexual Health FAQs

Changes are common with age, but that doesn't mean you have to accept them. Hormones, circulation, stress, sleep, and medications can all play a role, and many of those can be addressed.

Erection pills mainly help blood flow. They don't directly improve libido, balance hormones, or address emotional connection. We look at all of those pathways and may combine therapies that work together.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the body. A peptide stack is a planned combination of peptides and other therapies that work together to support desire, arousal, performance, and connection. These are prescription therapies used under medical supervision.

The O-Shot® is a procedure for women that uses a small amount of your own blood, processed to concentrate platelets, which are then reintroduced with a couple of minor injections. There is no surgery involved. We will talk with you about whether it is a good fit.

It doesn't have to be. These are personal concerns, and we treat them with privacy, care, and respect. You can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with, and we will go at your pace.
