Lyme Disease
When fatigue, joint pain, and brain fog linger long after a tick-borne infection, we look deeper for the reasons your body has not recovered.
Understanding Lyme Disease
Lyme disease is an infection caused by Borrelia bacteria, which are spread through the bite of an infected tick. It can affect the skin, joints, nerves, heart, and brain.
Some people develop an expanding red rash or flu-like symptoms soon after a bite. Many others never see a rash and never remember being bitten at all. Ticks can also carry other infections, called co-infections, that add their own symptoms.
For some people, symptoms continue for months or years, even after treatment. They may hear that their tests are negative or that nothing more can be done. Lyme disease is less common in Utah than in other parts of the country, but many people are exposed while traveling, camping, or living elsewhere.
Lingering Lyme is rarely just about the bacteria. A body that is also dealing with toxins, other infections, or a stressed immune system may struggle to recover on its own.

Common Signs and Symptoms
Lyme symptoms vary widely and often move around the body. You may experience:
Root Causes We Look For
When Lyme symptoms persist, there are usually several reasons. We look for the factors that may be keeping your body from healing.
How We Help
We start by listening to your full story, then use bioenergetic testing, lab work, and an in-depth consultation to look for what is driving your symptoms.
From there, we build a personalized plan that works on several fronts at once: supporting your immune system, reducing inflammation, and removing what interferes with healing.
- Nervous System Reset to help your body move out of survival mode and into repair
- IV therapy to restore nutrients and support energy and immune function
- Detoxification therapy and chelation to reduce toxic burden
- PEMF therapy to support circulation, cellular energy, and calmer inflammation
- Gut repair, nutrition, and targeted supplements to rebuild a strong foundation
If mold exposure is part of your picture, we address that too. Learn more about mold illness.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lyme Disease
Yes. Ticks are small and their bites are often painless, so many people with Lyme disease never remember being bitten or never see a rash.
Some people continue to have symptoms after standard treatment. Co-infections, mold or other toxins, immune dysregulation, gut problems, and a stressed nervous system can all play a role. We look for these factors so they can be addressed.
Lyme testing can be negative, especially early in the infection or when the immune system is not responding normally. We consider your full history, symptoms, and testing together, and we look for any contributor that may be keeping you unwell.
